Phrasal verb 


*Come back: This phrasal verb means when a people return to a place after a time, for example:


My father came back from london yesterday.


*Go on: This phrasal verb used to indicate that something continue in the moment that it`s said, for example:

We go on our travel for the desert.


*Pick up: This phrasal verb means when in necessary go to a place to get something and is necessary change to the place, for example:

He must pick up the mail in the office in New York City.



*Find out: This verb means to discover, to find.

The detective found out the truth of the case.


*Take over: This means taking control of something, controlling something, seizing something.

My brother will take over the family business.


*Set up: This verb means to establish, to create, to install.

The technician set up the computer network perfectly.



*Point out :Make someone aware of something. 

I made over to my friend Marcos because his girlfriend was unfaithful with him. 



Colloquial expressions

*Pesky: This is a Colloquial expression used to indicate to a person is furious or angry because don’t like something, for example:

My brother is pesky because he lost the math test today.


*Cuckoo: This is a Colloquial expression used to indicate when something or someone don’t be good from the head or have psychological problems, for example:

My friend’s dog is cuckoo because it barks when it listens a song.



*Gusty = this means brave without fear of the challenges.

Juan shows courage in his work every day.


*Glam up : This verb means to adorn; It means that dress up with glamor.

When you glam up for a night out, do you reach for dazzle.



*Perk : Advantage or something extra, such as money or goods, that you are given because of your job. 


I perked some money because from my boss because I did an excellent work. 


*Sucker : A fool that most people cheat and generally cheating is for money. 

My brother is a sucker he was cheated several times in the street. 

*Show and tell: This activity is mainly done with children who show an object in class and talk about it. 

My son has played show and tell with his classmates. 


*Come on:  Arrive on time

I come on every day to my job.
